__WeChat315860****I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen at the end of December, celebrating New Year's Eve by myself. I absolutely loved the hotel's design aesthetic. The room was spacious and had a courtyard. I even brought a bottle of Salon to enjoy in the evening. Karlie's service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; I really appreciated the little note she wrote. It was a very comfortable stay overall, and I was thoroughly satisfied.

GGuest UserI have stayed at this hotel a night. I have contacted with someone and talked for 9 minutes about scheduled a shuttle bus with the phone number at Trip.com a day ago we arrived. But there was happened several things as shown below, 1. There was no one were waiting for us at the Arrival area of the airport. 2. Then we find the information desk of the Beijing Capital International airport to ask her to call to the hotel. The phone number was the same number was talking yesterday. But the reception of that hotel was now nothing about we are arriving and told her that the shuttle bus after 8:00 PM will be 100 RMB. 3. I was confused and cached taxi, so it was only 20 RMB distance. Also the taxi driver was trying to have more money. So I gave him 30 RMB. 4. The reception of that hotel was completely nothing understand in English and seemed have no possibility to discuss about this happen. Also didn't explain us anything about breakfast time, wifi password, dining places, working time of swimming pool and sauna, also shuttle bus to the airport. 5. We have arrived at 8:30 PM, and we needed to have dinner and asked a guy from hotel about where to find restaurant and he called us a taxi and told us will be call a taxi for us, so we changed our Wechat addresses. Then the guy wrote us to catch a taxi yourselves from the street. Then restaurants cashier said no to us to call a taxi. 6. So we go out and show the hotel address to several taxies, but no one knows that address. So we walked and luckily asked a taxi who tried hard to find the hotel address and found it after long time find thought applications. But the taxi asked us much more money to take us to the hotel. But that was only 10 min drive distance. 7. I called to the room service which is pushed 0 from room phone, and a lady who was speaking in English said their manager will contact me back when I told her about shuttle bus didn't arrive. Then there are no ones contacted me back. 8. I have talked with another guy who was speaking English when I get my room, with a phone of the guy who let us to our room, he said that the swimming pool and massage will be start at 10:00 AM in the morning, but it was opened 8:00 AM when I come to the swimming pool and SPA. So I wondered why customer service of this hotel working so poor. But the hotel and room was nice, but the customer service is so poor seemed for me. I just wanted to write about this for other hotel guests to be careful. Thanks, Best regards,

GGuest UserI stayed at the Wanda Vista Beijing for two nights during Chinese New Year, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. As soon as I entered, I felt the strong festive atmosphere, with thoughtful details creating a sense of ceremony. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable. A bath in the tub was incredibly relaxing. The staff were gentle and attentive, and check-in and check-out were efficient. The breakfast offered a great selection and tasted delicious. It's a quiet oasis in a bustling location, truly a high-quality stay with a warm touch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing.

YYifeiGGThe hotel room was really spacious, and I loved the tea table setup. It was also very affordable, and the facilities were excellent, with a smart toilet, a large-screen TV, and a smart voice system. Plus, about 500 meters downstairs is Lianhua Pond Park, which has an ice rink. Although it's small, there are very few people, so you don't have to deal with the crowds at the Summer Palace ice rink. The only thing I couldn't stand was that the heating couldn't be adjusted – it was ridiculously hot. The air conditioning was disabled, so there was no way to control the room temperature. I tried opening the window, but it still didn't help. This place is perfect for those who don't mind heat or those who get cold easily, but I really struggled with the heat.

GGuest UserTo ensure my children and I had a comfortable stay in Beijing, I compared many hotels and ultimately chose the Regent. Upon arrival, a doorman helped with our luggage, and luckily, a room was ready, so we were able to check in around 12:30 PM. The room was very comfortable and perfectly suited for two adults and two children. The pool was a huge hit with the kids; we stayed two nights and visited three times. The service at the pool reception was also great; they noticed I was wearing the room's cloth slippers and warned me to be careful not to slip. The only downside occurred during breakfast on the second day. Because my outdoor shoes were a bit uncomfortable, I wore my room slippers into the restaurant (as I had the day before). When I went to get more food, there was a large puddle of water around a corner. The lighting in that spot was a bit dim, making it impossible to see, and I nearly fell. I had to inform the staff about the water before they promptly cleaned it up. I also told a gentleman in a suit, who seemed to be a manager. He only offered to move our table, and there was no subsequent apology. After I sat down, I was still quite shaken. Feeling both startled and disrespected, I decided to go to the front desk and speak with the restaurant manager myself. Although they did take some corrective actions afterwards, such as bringing two teddy bears for our children and some bread from the restaurant, and even called after we checked out to offer a room upgrade for our next stay, I still feel it's important to mention this incident. As it's an IHG hotel, it should be different from a budget hotel. Guests come here for excellent service, but this morning's experience was quite a deviation from what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

JJoey1155Overall, it was quite good, as consistently excellent as always. The room was clean, and the service was attentive. The front desk staff had a great attitude. The only things that could be improved are the internet speed and the speed of room service deliveries.

WWangRuaiRuai1: The front desk staff who checked me in, wearing teal eyeshadow, kept a straight face and emphasized three times that I needed to keep the executive lounge schedule and adhere to its times. Excuse me, is this my first time visiting an executive lounge? And second, I'm not blind or deaf, so I would have understood after you said it once. Also, please fix your makeup. 2: After being in the room for a while, I noticed a yellow stain on a pillowcase. I called, and the attendant quickly came to replace it. It's no exaggeration to say she replaced the pillowcase in 2 seconds. This was, without a doubt, the best experience of my stay. 3: As part of the executive benefits, I had a late check-out until 4 PM. However, at 2 PM, my card stopped working. My three-year-old and I were stuck in the elevator, unable to go up, and he got scared. It was then that I realized they might have deactivated my card... We had to go back to the front desk on the ground floor to resolve it. All of this is fine, these are minor issues. 4: They charged me 3500 for check-in and took the deposit quickly. But getting the deposit back was a different story. I've stayed at so many five-star platinum and diamond hotels, and I've always received my deposit before even leaving the hotel entrance. This is the first time I've encountered not receiving it after 12 hours. Customer service told me it would be returned via the original payment method within 48 hours... I've truly never heard of a deposit being delayed like this. 5: The shower in the room was very cold, and at night, it was extremely hot, making it hard to sleep. The breakfast was decent but didn't offer much. Please stop serving that 'cheong fun' (rice noodle roll); it's an embarrassment. Anyone who has ever had 'cheong fun' would know what I'm talking about... The executive lounge had almost nothing to eat; it was far too little, not even half of what you'd find at a Ritz. The orange juice was good. There was one young male server in the executive lounge who was absolutely the best; the other female staff were just props. That's all.

JJacky Liu 1982The hotel's location is truly excellent, right in the core area of West Chang'an Avenue. It's directly opposite the Capital Museum and next to Chang'an Shopping Mall, making getting around very convenient. The price is also very cheap. However, for a five-star hotel, their service is truly disappointing. Firstly, there's no greeter at the entrance, and no service staff in the lobby. The front desk is slow to respond and quite dull when dealing with issues. All the staff have a poor sense of service, or rather, no service awareness at all. They avoid eye contact with guests and don't even offer a simple greeting! The swimming pool is like a big fish tank. If you're staying for the low price and great location, it's just about acceptable.

GGuest UserThe overall environment is excellent. Manager Ella helped me choose a room with a great view when I checked in. The view of the Second Ring Road is quite good; at night, it's just a sea of red taillights, which really shows how much traffic there is. The room was a bit dry, but that's generally how the weather is in Beijing. Inside the room, everything was great – very clean, and the attention to detail was impressive. The hotel breakfast was also fantastic, with lots of variety and delicious options.

GGuest UserService: Nicole Liu provided excellent service! Her directions to the room and explanations of the location were incredibly detailed, making for smooth and pleasant communication. Since the air conditioning isn't available in winter to maintain a constant room temperature, and I found it a bit warm, the front desk immediately sent up a portable air conditioner after I spoke with them. Also, a tall male staff member in the lobby, whose name I didn't catch, overheard my mother and me looking for a convenience store and proactively gave us directions! This saved us from having to walk around outside in the cold — thank you! 🙏 Facilities: The iPad control for lights and curtains was very convenient. Environment: Great Hygiene: Excellent
