I had a great experience. Travelled as a family of 4 and the reception was amazing. The welcome drinks were tasty and we couldn’t have picked a better room. However, may i suggest for the following improvement:
1: Anti slip mats in the bathroom. The whole floor is marble and my 1 year old is slipping about trying to get from the bathroom to the private pool.
2: Pesky mosquitoes are everywhere. Would be good to install those electric socket mosquito repellent.
3: Because of the amount of bugs at night its a bit of a drag to get to the minibar since we have to literally open the door to the veranda to access it.
Sala Khaoyai was a long-awaited visit, and it lived up to the pictures. The atmosphere was fantastic, complemented by the pleasantly chilly weather. The standout infinity pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was a highlight.
The chef deserves a special mention – every meal was delicious. Given the remote location, we had most of our meals in the hotel, and it was a satisfying culinary experience.
The rooms were superb, making our couple's trip a truly joyful and memorable experience.
The service is really very good. The price may be high but with the environment it's worth it. The staff's speech is top notch. Really very cute. Next time, if there is a chance, I will definitely come back again. I really like it here T T
🏔️ Tranquil Escape at Recall Isaan Isan Concept, Khaoyai
Instantly felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved piece of Thailand’s northeastern heritage - Isaan. Close proximity to Khao Yai National Park, this stunning boutique resort seamlessly blends nature, culture, and comfort into a truly unique experience.
🌿 First Impressions
From the moment we arrived, I was captivated by the resort’s lush surroundings—towering teak trees, vibrant flowers, and organic vegetable gardens. The atmosphere was serene and private, offering the perfect escape from city life.
The staff were warm and welcoming, going the extra mile to ensure a smooth check-in. The concierge service was a nice touch—they even carried our luggage to the room, setting the tone for a relaxing stay.
🏡 Our Stay
Our spacious room featured a cozy bed with soft pillows, and the balcony overlooked the beautifully landscaped garden. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and the gentle rustling of trees was an absolute delight. 😍
The open-air concept of the resort made it feel incredibly immersive and connected to nature, yet with all the comforts of a luxury stay.
🍽️ Dining & Drinks
Breakfast was a delicious blend of traditional and international options. The Isaan-style fried rice with stir-fried chicken and vegetables was a standout, and the omelet and grilled pork were equally satisfying. However, I noticed that some food stations were left unattended for a while, leading to items running low. 🫤
Drinks were the real highlight—the Ramayana series cocktail during happy hour was exceptional! Highly recommend trying it. 🍹🌟
🎶 Atmosphere & Entertainment
One thing that stood out was the soothing open-air music that complemented the resort’s tranquil setting. The resort also organized fun activities and games for kids, making it a great spot for families.
🛌 What We Loved
✔ Beautiful location—just a short distance from Khao Yai National Park. ✔ Spacious, well-maintained rooms with a peaceful garden view. ✔ Friendly and helpful staff offering seamless service. ✔ Great cocktails & happy hour deals. ✔ Relaxing ambiance with nature-inspired decor and live music.
🤔 Areas for Improvement
While the stay was fantastic, a few small tweaks could enhance the experience:
* 🛌 Provide four pillows instead of two for extra comfort.
* 🍽️ Better breakfast service—ensure food stations are consistently stocked and attended.
* 🧼 Improve hygiene at the restaurant—houseflies were present during dinner, which could be better managed.
🌟 Final Thoughts
Staying at Recall Isaan Isan Concept was a refreshing and immersive experience. The combination of nature, tradition, and thoughtful design makes it an excellent getaway for anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful, culturally rich setting.
Would I return? Absolutely. Just a few minor refinements, and this place could be a top-tier luxury escape. 🌿✨

Well if you want to a day and night experience europian sorrounding without leaving thailand, then jt is highly recommended to check in at u khao yai. From the very gates of the resort, walking and hallway area until your very room delivers a breathtaking western style. Halls, walls desk and cabinets decorated uniquely on style. Foods at the morning were combination of thai and wertern style
The location is remote and it is not convenient to have breakfast. The hotel lobby is far away from the location. Calling a golf cart has to wait a long time. Hotel service is not good
Truly 5* in all aspects. Beautiful huge property with the rooms surrounding a lake, giving great views in the day. But don't worry about the size of the area, they have buggies to shuttle guests around. Our 2 bedroom suite was a huge comfy space, a master bedroom with a huge bathroom that comes with a luxurious bathtub. The other bedroom had 2 single beds with an attached bathroom with a standing shower but still spacious. Huge sofa in the living room (which can possibly sleep another person) and a dining table, all in between the 2 rooms. Everything is well maintained and clean, mini bar all inclusive, it's funny how they continue stocking the fridge even when we didn't drink any. I love the open wardrobe concept. Wished they had a full length mirror in the Twin-bed room though.
The breakfast spread is good, a wide variety including live stations for eggs and congee and cuisines ranging from local Thai to international. They also have an extended selection on the weekends including a noodles live station. The pool, right beside the breakfast restaurant is a little small but enough to keep the kids occupied. The water is perpetually cold regardless of the time of the day. Staff here are excellent, always full of smiles, friendly and welcoming, from front desk to the buggy drivers, to the servers at breakfast.
Certainly my choice hotel if I ever return to Khaoyai.
Booked this hotel based on good reviews especially many mentioned good breakfast. We didn't like it. Most food are cold. Eggs are all pre cooked. Pork and chicken congee no heat up. Also tables are not clean fast.
Room toilet is not clean. There are mould and stain. Room is average. For TV, no English movies. Only thai local programmes. Very boring as we wanted to chill in the room watch movies. Water bottles is free for 2 bottles. Additional bottle will be charged 20B.
We didn't enjoy the stay much. Will we come back again? No. There are other better resorts. Overall I'm not impressed with this hotel.
There's a EV charger in the hotel.
Wonderful and lovely hotel ever. Very good hotel and great to take time with family and lover. Recommend for who looking for calm place to relax.

CCho RattanasinchaiClassic, old style.
This place is a big but comfy pool villa for those who look for a place to chill for a night or two. Every thing in here is gigantic, sofa, bed, or a pool!
The view from Rm 927 is nice and quite private. There are so many spots you can sit and chill, both indoor and outdoor. There’s also a huge whirlpool bathtub inside in case one outdoor pool is not enough.
Breakfast was food. Service was excellent.

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at The Piano Resort, and it was a truly delightful experience. The property has undergone a recent renovation, resulting in a modern and inviting atmosphere. The accommodations were beautifully appointed and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind.
The highlight of my stay was the stunning scenery during the rainy season. The combination of fog and humidity created a magical ambiance, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The large swimming pool was a welcome addition, offering a refreshing escape on hot days.
For those who need to stay productive while traveling, the on-site cafe was a convenient and comfortable place to work. Overall, The Piano Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
