The endless summer hydrangeas bloom hidden in the heart of Nanjing city, heralding the endless summer once again. It's May again, and this year I finally managed to capture the endless summer at the Art Jinling Creative Industry Park! Last year, the hydrangeas here were quite sparse, so we chose to shoot a small patch of them planted in the Muxin Garden inside, but who knew that this year we would find two long rows of lush endless summer hydrangeas, which are incomparable to those in Muxin Garden! The key point is that it's located in the city center, and it's less crowded than the Hydrangea Park and Yuejiang Tower! However, this is not a tourist spot!! So without a good reason, it's difficult to enter (we went with children saying we wanted to check out the kindergarten inside), and if you do go in, please keep quiet and take photos respectfully. : Art Jinling Creative Industry Park (No. 17, Dajin Alley, Xinjiekou) : May 27, 2023, from 16:30 to 18:30, just during sunset, which is the perfect time for taking stunning backlit photos. : You can get off at Shanghai Road Station on Metro Line 2 and take exits 1, 2, or 3. Take Exit 4 of Zhujiang Road Station on Line 1, and across the street on the left-hand side of the exit, take bus 100 directly to Yijiangmen. Yijiangmen offers free access to the city wall, where you can walk and see the ancient and modern scenery blend together until you reach Yuejiang Tower. The entrance fee for Yuejiang Tower is 40 yuan. In the spring of 1374 (the 7th year of the Hongwu era), Zhu Yuanzhang built a pavilion on Lion Mountain and personally named it Yuejiang Tower, also writing 'Inscription on Yuejiang Tower'. Xiuqiu Park is named after Xiuqiu Mountain, echoing the image of a lion playing with an embroidered ball. The flowers in Xiuqiu Park are blooming beautifully, with wisteria also competing for attention. It seems the older I get, the more I enjoy the competitive blooming of spring. Currently, there are hydrangeas and separate small flowers blooming; in another week, the 'Endless Summer' variety will also bloom, making it even more beautiful then. The hydrangeas in Wuchao Gate Park are also incredibly beautiful, so you might want to visit there first. Then, take a stroll in Xiaotaoyuan. A hundred years ago, this place was already covered with peach blossoms, hence the name 'Xiaotaoyuan'. Today's Xiaotaoyuan Park remains the largest peach blossom viewing area within Nanjing city. To end the trip, take bus 100 back to Xinjiekou and enjoy some ice cream at Sister Ping's hotpot restaurant.

Yuejiang Tower, located on the summit of Lion Mountain and the banks of the Yangtze River in Nanjing, was intended to be built by the founder of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang, but was not completed, with only the foundation of Yuejiang Tower being constructed before work stopped. It was not until six hundred years later that it was finally completed. It is famous for the 'Record of Yuejiang Tower' written by the early Ming literati Song Lian, and is one of China's top ten historic and cultural famous towers, also known as 'the number one tower in the south of the Yangtze River'. From the top of Yuejiang Tower, one can have a distant view of the main city of Nanjing, overlook the Yangtze River, see the famous Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and its bridgehead fortress, and even take photos of trains crossing the river. Now, to ascend Yuejiang Tower, there is no need to climb the mountain. By purchasing an elevator ticket, visitors can take an escalator directly to the top of the mountain. Standing still on the way up, one can enjoy the mountain scenery, which is particularly comfortable and pleasant. On the third floor of Yuejiang Tower, there is a giant porcelain painting named 'Zheng He's Voyages to the Western Seas'. The painting is 12.8 meters high and 8 meters wide, and is the largest Jingdezhen porcelain painting in China. It reflects the history of Zheng He's seven voyages to the Western Seas from 1405 to 1433. The painting is composed of 12 sections, detailing the navigator Zheng He's construction of treasure ships according to the orders of Emperor Yongle, his pilgrimage to the holy land in Arabia, and his promotion of Chinese civilization and commodity trade in various countries of the Western Seas, depicting the historical scenes of Zheng He's voyages in a panoramic style.
