Though it was a dreary, rainy day, we had a lovely time at Tivoli Gardens exploring their Christmas displays. We arrived right when the park opened at 11 and had a nice walk through the park before finding some warmth in a little restaurant that was modeled after a German beer hall. It seemed that many things were not open when we were there- perhaps because it was a week day- and many of the places that were open (shops and restaurants) didn’t open before 12.

We had an awesome time at Tivoli Gardens with our little 1.5 year old daughter. We bought entrance tickets from Trip.com but note that this does not include rides. We made a mistake of paying 180 dkk a ride for 2 adults + infant foc. So you’re better off buying a ride pass upon entering the park. Which we did after that one incident. They have 3 categories of passes to choose from. The lowest priced package consists of kiddie rides whilst the highest priced ones are all inclusive.
It was an amazing place for families and children. It is fun for grown ups as well with many exciting rides. Very near to the central station.
Amazing place, especially at night during Christmas time!
Intervoli Park is the most famous and interesting place in Denmark. It is the oldest amusement park in the world. But so far it has been very attractive. The design of the stadium is divided according to the architectural characteristics of each country. Here I see Chinese pavilions, pavilions, bridges running water. India's Taj Mahal, Japan's withered mountains and rivers, there are many thrilling entertainment projects. Personally, I think it's much better than Disney or Universal Park.
Spring is beautiful and magical in Tivoli gardens! 🌸 The world's second oldest amusement park and pleasure gardens. Tivoli Gardens. The park opened on 15 August 1843. Kick back and relax, grab a cup of coffee or locally brewed dark ale while watching the world go by.. Families, couples would really enjoy strolling along the gardens with full of gorgeous flowers and plants, afterwards enjoy a quick lunch in the Tivoli food court or one of restaurants in the open air before heading off to roller coasters for fun. Don’t have time in the day time? Visit in the evening, offers even more magical experience when the lights turned on!
