It was a great experience. The package I bought on Ctrip was a great deal, cheaper than buying it directly at the counter, and it even included a serving of takoyaki at the 58th-floor restaurant.
The scenery was also amazing. Highly recommended.★

My trip to Osaka was from November 2nd to 6th, 2025. I bought the JR Kansai Mini Pass, which was quite convenient and cost-effective. I visited Kobe and Kyoto, both of which had new rapid transit lines. On the last day, I also took the Airport Express. Note that cars 5-8 on the Airport Express might be assigned to Wakayama, so be sure to take cars 1-4. I also took the Arashiyama Scenic Railway; make sure you buy the correct section ticket, as it offers round-trip tickets. I bought the wrong one.★

We used this on Friday, March 13th. Initially, we planned our itinerary around the night view from the Dotonbori Cruise, but after hearing that we would have to purchase tickets on-site once the ticket office opened at 10:00, we decided to give that up and were able to visit about two more places. We were told that using the Osaka Amazing Pass would take longer than expected due to long lines, but we were able to use all the facilities without waiting in line. Here is our family's route: Depart Daikokucho Station at 09:00, arrive at Osaka Castle at 09:40, board the Gozabune boat at 10:10. After the 20-30 minute boat ride, we went up to the Tenshu-kaku Observatory. 12:00 Umeda Sky Garden / Lunch in Umeda
14:40 Arrive at Tempozan
15:00 Board the Santa Maria (every hour, last boat at 16:00)
16:00 Ride the Tempozan Ferris Wheel
19:00 Ride the Tsutenkaku Slide
19:45 Go up to the Tsutenkaku Observatory (closing times may vary slightly).
I traveled with more time than expected, and I tried the Tsutenkaku Slide unexpectedly, but it was so much fun. If I had taken the Dotonbori Cruise, it would have been difficult to get to the Shinseikai area due to closing times, so visiting Shinseikai after 19:00 was great. There were no people at the Mega Don Quijote next to Shinseikai, so shopping was also easy. ^^★

I like that the schedule is flexible. I was able to get ready faster than expected on both the outbound and return trips, so I was able to move my reservation time up and use the service successfully. I used to hug my suitcase and take the Nankai Airport Line subway because I thought it was a waste of money, but since that costs around 10,000 won anyway—especially if you are traveling with children or elderly parents—it is much better to just pay a few thousand won more and take the Rapit.★

I bought it online while on the train from Odawara to Osaka. At the station, I found an office and got a printed ticket. I then used it to travel to Hiroshima, which is very convenient. I also used it to visit Miyajima, then Kyoto, and several surrounding cities.★
