The high-speed train from Beijing North Railway Station is very convenient! 👍🏻 It's a 5-minute walk from the train station to the entrance of the aerial cable car, which takes you directly to the 7th floor of the North Tower, and then you can walk to the 8th floor. This is the highest point, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains!

Christmas season is great! The Christmas tree is beautiful for photos, and there are Christmas decorations everywhere. I bought a 1.5-day pass, and Saturday afternoon was less crowded. The Decepticons ride was basically only 10 minutes, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was 20 minutes, and Hippogriff and Jurassic Park were still very popular and I couldn't get a seat. The second day, I encountered an unusually crowded park. The Forbidden Journey was 165 minutes long, so I skipped the queue and went to see the show instead, which was also very good. However, the immersive experience wasn't as good as at USJ. Everyone was quite reserved, and I couldn't get into the atmosphere without being fully engaged. I hope that one day at UBR I can also have an immersive experience where I can shout and interact without feeling ashamed.

Today, we visited Prince Gong's Mansion with a guided tour organized by the "Top Scholar of Beijing." Our guide, Mr. Wang, was patient, meticulous, and humorous. The tour was rich in historical anecdotes, and the route was well-planned, covering the entire mansion. He also carried a booklet to supplement the explanations. The content was highly professional; I highly recommend it!

The Long Corridor is renowned for its exquisite architecture, winding paths, and richly decorated paintings, making it the longest corridor in ancient Chinese architecture and gardens. It is also a vibrant art gallery, with over 14,000 paintings adorning every beam, creating a magnificent and colorful spectacle. The paintings primarily depict landscapes, flowers and birds, and scenes from the four great classical Chinese novels. The artists have condensed thousands of years of Chinese history and culture onto this long corridor. When you arrive at this place, you can see many people taking a break, looking at the water scenery of Kunming Lake, looking directly at the island in the middle of the lake and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge, and looking up at the Tower of Buddhist Incense in the distance. This is a collection of independent landscapes. It is a typical example of Chinese culture as an "art gallery". You can never get enough of it. The whole content could be written into a good book.

Standing 200 centimeters tall, this seated statue is one of the largest Song Dynasty wood carvings in Chinese museums. The Bodhisattva wears a tall floral crown, her hair tied in a high bun, with large earlobes and full cheeks. She is adorned with a necklace, draped in a flowing robe with ribbons around her arms, and wears a long, brightly colored skirt that reaches the ground.
