lele109I took a taxi directly from the high-speed rail station to the scenic spot, arriving at 11:59 AM, just in time for the 12:00 PM train – a seamless connection, not a second wasted! We headed straight to Longhua Temple for vegetarian food and noodles. After getting off the taxi, we entered the scenic area, went up to the second floor for the vegetarian meal, and then up to the third floor to reach Longhua Temple – a rather unique design. Longhua Temple is very large and magnificent, with excellent air quality. The only downside was that it started raining, quite heavily. There weren't many people initially, but suddenly two tour groups arrived, making it lively. We took the shuttle bus from the North Gate to Tushita Heaven Palace. Gradually, the rain stopped, and the air was filled with ethereal mist and clouds – truly a fairyland. Since it wasn't a holiday, there weren't many people, allowing for a leisurely stroll, exploring every nook and cranny. We encountered a monk distributing offerings of steamed buns, got our stamps (for a fee), and went up to the 13th floor to see the Thangka paintings (also for a fee, but we had the whole place to ourselves, very quiet, and listened attentively to the explanations). A truly memorable experience! This time, I bought a package deal through Ctrip, which was excellent – a smooth journey, saved time, highly recommended!

M12***29Core Experiences: Three Highlights and the Soul of the Wupeng Boat 1. Cliffside Cave Lake: A Miracle of Nature and Man The most breathtaking aspect of Donghu Lake is not its natural lake, but the cliffs carved by ancient quarrymen over thousands of years. Huge rock faces plunge directly into the water, their ochre-red hue creating a striking contrast with the picturesque Jiangnan water towns, resulting in a powerful visual impact. Especially when boating through Taogong Cave and Xiantao Cave, light pours down from the cave entrances, making the water a deep, emerald green, and the damp rock walls reflect a soft glow—instantly understanding why it's hailed as "the world's largest water and rock bonsai." This landscape, sculpted by human hands yet seemingly created by nature, is the unique charm of Donghu Lake. 2. Wupeng Boat—The Right Way to Unlock Donghu "A trip to Donghu is incomplete without a wupeng boat ride." This is no exaggeration. The wupeng boat is more than just transportation; it's the soul of experiencing Donghu Lake. • Best Perspective: Only by sitting in a gently swaying awning boat can you fully appreciate the grandeur of the cliffs and the mystery of the caves. Viewing from land is like "looking at a painting"; traveling by water is like "entering the painting." • Unique Experience: The boatmen's skillful rowing, using both hands and feet, is a spectacle in itself. They expertly navigate the boat through narrow gaps barely wide enough for one boat, shouting their boats within the Tao Gong Cave and feeling the ethereal echo—an experience that cannot be replicated on foot. • Excellent Photography: With the cliffs and arched bridges as a backdrop, you can take the most authentic Shaoxing-style travel photos from the boat. 3. Gardens and Cultural Embellishments The pavilions, terraces, bridges, and flowing water along the lake are typical of Jiangnan gardens, adding a touch of elegance to the rugged rock formations. The "Tao She" (陶社) within the scenic area was built to commemorate Tao Chengzhang, a martyr of the Xinhai Revolution, adding a sense of historical weight to the landscape. Strolling across the tranquil Qin Bridge or Xiachuan Bridge, watching the awning boats glide by beneath, is a truly delightful experience. Some constructive comments and suggestions: • Advantages: • Distinctive Features: The combination of quarry relics and Jiangnan scenery is rare nationwide, making it highly recognizable. • Unique Experience: The awning boat experience is the core highlight, offering a strong sense of participation and memorable moments. • Convenient Transportation: Close to the city center, accessible by public transportation, easily integrated into a Shaoxing day trip. • Relaxing Tour: The scenic area is of moderate size, allowing for a leisurely 2-3 hour tour without excessive fatigue. • Points to Note: • Limited Area: Walking alone might make the area feel small, allowing for a quick exploration. The essence of the experience is best appreciated by boat. •

M31***07The route started in Luzhen and ended in Keyan, with no queues throughout. In Luzhen, we took a traditional awning boat, which cost 80 yuan and could seat a maximum of three people. There were only two of us, so it was just right – not crowded and not expensive. After getting off the awning boat, we looked for painted boats. We didn't have to wait long; they left as soon as they were full. After arriving at Jianhu Lake, there's a glass bridge and Deer Island, but these require additional payment.

Anonymous userAnchang Ancient Town has moderate commercial development, but residents still live within the town, preserving some of its original lifestyle. The town is situated along a river, offering opportunities for sightseeing on a wupeng boat. Alternatively, you can walk under pavilions, offering shelter from the wind and sun. The Master's Hall, Stone Sculpture Hall, Folk Customs Hall, and City God Temple are all worth a visit. At Renchang Sauce Factory, you can experience traditional methods of brewing, and the ubiquitous preserved meats are a specialty. During the National Day holiday, the town is bustling with visitors, making it worth a stroll to explore and sample the local delicacies.

SDDSDDThe scenic area boasts exquisitely carved Buddhist statues, including the largest Buddha statue in Jiangnan and the largest reclining Buddha in Asia, which are truly breathtaking. The area has also served as a filming location for numerous period dramas such as *The Snow Sword* and *Lotus Pavilion*, exuding a strong sense of ancient charm. The Prajna Valley within the scenic area was transformed from a Ming Dynasty quarry. Its five-tiered waterfall and Buddhist statues create a picturesque scene.

小白During the off-season, there was no one in Yuling Square. I had the whole scenic area to myself. The environment was so comfortable. I especially liked the Eyes of Time and Space in the Dayu Memorial Hall. I was completely attracted by it. The road to the bronze statue was also very easy to walk. It is really a very cost-effective scenic spot.

骑着蜗牛赶绿灯Xishi's hometown is based on the theme of "Xishi culture", which blends nature and humanistic landscape. There is a thousand-year-old Xishi Palace, which displays folk architectural art; Fan Yu adopts the Qing Dynasty style, showing simplicity and elegance. Walking on the banks of the Lisha River, you can not only enjoy the Lisha stone of Wang Qian's inscription, but also participate in the Lijiang night tour, watch the immersive stage drama "Dream Searching Xishi", and feel the ancient style.

Anonymous userThe scenic area is quite large, and you need to buy an additional 20 yuan ticket to go up the mountain. Since you're already there, you should still go up; the glass walkway and suspension bridge are located there. The scenery at the top is quite nice, and after climbing 999 steps, the path becomes gentler.

ReenaRieYou can drive up the mountain by yourself, 22 yuan/car/person. Warm reminder, please be a civilized tourist, don't litter and cigarette butts, don't drive as you please. When I was going up the mountain, I met a fool who was turning in the opposite direction, which made me slam on the brakes. The main road is halfway up, and the mountain road is narrow, so you must drive carefully. This trip was to go to Tianmu Mountain, and I drove from Shaoxing for an hour and a half to appreciate Li Bai's "Dreaming of Tianmu and Chanting Farewell". Standing on the Jinyin Terrace and looking into the distance, I feel infinite emotion in my heart. We young people really can't lose ourselves, and the world's pleasure is also like this. Since ancient times, everything has flowed east. When will I return after leaving you? Let the white deer go among the green cliffs, and ride to visit famous mountains if you have to go. How can I bow my head and serve the powerful and make me unhappy!
