Ambleside is a town in Cumbria, northwest England, at the northern tip of Windermere, England, within the beautiful Lake District National Park. It has stunning scenery and buildings that were once the University of Cumbria's Ambleside campus. Ambleside is a very worthwhile town in the Lake District National Park, attracting many tourists with its beautiful natural scenery, many restaurants and bars, comfortable lake tours, magnificent surrounding mountains and quiet and elegant rural life. The many black and white houses and the old mill are also exceptionally beautiful. The Amit Museum and the 17th-century Bridge House in the town showcase the town's history and importance in the Lake District and the lives of local artists and writers. The William Wordsworth Villa in the nearby village is the embodiment of the town's cultural charm, and the Rushbearing Festival held in Ambleside every July also attracts attention.
