The tomb of King Kibi and the monkey stone are almost the same place.

This is the first place I visited from Asuka Station. I could see a torii gate surrounded by a fence near a grove and a moat that seems to be an old burial mound, which is a little further back than the residential area. I thought that was a grave, but the burial mound behind it looked like a mausoleum, and I consciously saw it. When I climbed the cobblestones near the mausoleum, I saw a private house and the Kintetsu Line on the other side. I went by bicycle, but several cars can be parked. There is also a tomb of Princess Kibi and a monkey stone nearby, so you can see it at the same time.
It was within walking distance from Kintetsu Asuka Station. It was a large tomb surrounded by a moat, and a management office was also set up in front of it. If you rent a bicycle, it's just a short distance from the station, and tourists were also visiting, although there were few.
The tomb of the emperor, which is a front and rear burial mound, is famous for its tomb in Sakai City, but I didn't know it was also here in Asuka. The image of the emperor at that time is that he is a very talented person. There is also a monkey stone nearby, so I think it's a good idea to stop by one of the sightseeing courses.
It is a beautiful old burial mound with a moat filled with water. There is also a parking lot near the torii gate, which is a well-maintained place. This tumulus seems to be large, but you can't see the whole and you can only see a part. It's a place where you come to see Kinmei-san rather than looking at the tumulus.
There are many burial mounds and emperor tombs in Nara Prefecture. However, this tomb of Emperor Kinmei is the most wonderful. The moat is surrounded, and the Emperor's tomb is like an island, making it an outstanding Emperor's tomb.

It is a very huge emperor's tomb.

I'm sorry I can only see a part of it.
