Xiang Shan Temple

Located in Xiangshan Park, it takes a few minutes to go up from the east gate through the rock or Xiangshan Hotel. It is said that it was built in the year of the mountain. ＂ Xiangshan Temple ＂ is located in Xiangshan Park, Beijing. It is built on the mountain. It is scattered and spectacular. It has a long history. It is recorded that Ji'an and Xiangshan Er Temple were in Xiangshan during the Tang Dynasty. In 1186, the two temples were unified. Jin Zhangzong gave the name ＂ Dayong'an Temple ＂. Renovated in the Yuan Dynasty, easy to name ＂ Ganlu Temple ＂. Rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty, it is called ＂ Yong'an Temple ＂. During the Qing Qianlong period, the expansion on the original site formed a unique monastery pattern of Qianjie, Zhongsi and Houyuan. It is one of the 28 scenic spots of Jingyiyuan. ＂ Xiangshan Temple ＂ was burned twice by the British and French forces and the eight-country coalition in 1860 and 1900, leaving only some relics. It is now being restored in 2017.

Xiangshan Temple is in Xiangshan Park, from Xianglu Peak to the south, and Shuangqing Villa is next to it. Jingyi Garden was once a royal garden. Xiangshan Temple is the place where the Qianlong Emperor worships Buddha. I come here for a few days every year.
