Quite nice area, might be a good day off from Tokyo
I went hiking to that area for two days (I live relatively close and I had a day off between for a rest) and I really wanted to see a dam in my life. In February, the roads and mountains were still co...

A dam in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture. In the immediate neighborhood, there is a Nise Dam built in the uppermost part of the main stream of the Arakawa River, which is a dam built on the Nakatsu River in the Arakawa water system. It is a gravitational concrete dam with Tsutsumi height 132.0m and Tsutsumi top length 424.0m. It is much larger than Nise Dam and is one of the largest in Saitama Prefecture. The embankment of Urayama Dam that I visited on the same day was also amazing, but the embankment top length 424.0m far exceeded Urayama Dam. Urayama Dam is also for sightseeing and ...
Looking at the dam from below, it's a great power.

From Yamanashi Prefecture to Chichibu City, Takizawa Dam in front of the Loop Bridge. Thank you for a restroom break for motorcycles. Not just! You can get off at the square (park) under the dam by elevator. Get off the elevator, walk down the aisle, and climb 71 steps (14 meters) to the ground. So, when I look back at the fact that I finally got out of the ground, wow 〜! It's a great power. I saw countless lakes, but it was a good experience. I'm glad that it's free
As I ran toward the Kanazaka tunnel, there was a large loop, and I could see the dam just ahead. There was a place on the right in the middle of the loop that said the observatory, and when I tried to enter, it was "no entry in winter" and I couldn't be closed by a chain. This guide is very kiken in the middle of the loop. I want you to think about it. If you go beyond that, there is a parking space on the left and you can see the dam lake.
