Huangpi Old Street is located in Nanshan Street, Nan'an District, 600 meters long, with a construction area of 30,000 square meters, a total of 175 unique style Bayan houses and cultural relics former residences, the earliest history can be traced back to the Tang and Song Dynasty. It was once a resting place for the backfucking horse gang and the station of the official barracks. With the opening of Chongqing, it gradually developed into a bustling market. Yunnan Qian Wang Wang, "three world famous" Li Kui'an, civilian educator Li Yangchu, and Taiwan contemporary writer San Mao have all done business or lived here. "Thousands of years of Huangqi, a Tonggu and Modern" Huangqi Old Street originated from the first ancient road in Bayu Huangge Ancient Road. Huangpi Old Street began in the Tang Dynasty, Xing in Song and Yuan Dynasty, Sheng in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, more than a thousand years of history, is a part of the famous tea-horse ancient road, is the only way to travel to and from Shanghai, Guizhou, Guizhou, Shanghai, countless merchants, pickers, horse gangs through this mountain road to contact the outside world. The ancient caravan carrying weight from the Yangtze River to Huangpi, people are sleepy and lack of horses, here it becomes a place for back husbands and horse gangs to rest, and it becomes the origin of Huangpi Old Street.

What stands out for me are the many restaurants lining the street. There were other shops where traditional items could be bought as well. There was a boardwalk with a lovely night view of the 🏙️🌆. It lit up just after I left so unfortunately I missed that photo. Nice eating area overall.

It is not convenient to take the Huangge Ancient Road when it rains, so I only visited Huangpi Old Street. It was rebuilt on the original basis. The charm is missing a little, and many shops write about renting. Several old houses are either turned into restaurants or teahouses, or the gates are closed and vacant. Sanmao old houses are still blocked from entering. Generally speaking, it is not worth checking in in the past. If the weather is good, you can go to the Huangge Ancient Road. It should be OK. The only highlight is the Huangqi Historical Exhibition in the Guizhou Chamber of Commerce at the door.
