Although I never ventured into the museum I was more that happy to stop and admire the different architectural styles of this museum. You have the big modern brick and glass museum building and as part of the museum and adjacent is the ancient church that houses medieval exhibitions, it's cool and by the amount of people milling around the museum on our visit very popular.Easy to locate along Cacilienstraße,most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

I like this museum very much. There are many sculptures and bronzes in character shapes. Here, the archaeological finds of the Middle Ages in Europe are displayed. The museum area is not large. The artworks are very scattered and independent displays. You can slowly enjoy it. You can also see a lot of interesting things here. [Fun] Fun is fun
In 1906, the chaplain of the cathedral, Alexander Newtgen, donated his collection to the city of Cologne and stored it at the Schneidergen Museum in the Romanesque St. Helens Church, which is considered one of the most important medieval art museums in Europe. The museum preserves church art from the early Middle Ages to the Baroque period from the perspective of using space and art to play a role together. The international first-class art exhibits span a 1,000-year history, such as ivory carving, gold products, wood and stone sculptures, Bronze and silver art treasures, church furniture, painted glass, manuscripts, service clothes and fabrics from the late classical period to the present. It is because of these medieval church artworks that the Cologne Schneutgen Museum has become one of the world's most important medieval collections.
It is a tourist city. There are really too many tourist attractions here. The first time I saw such an exhibition hall, it was still very novel.
It is worth going here, especially unique design style, very charming
