Great spot
Such a pleasant walk around the lake and the memorial for the 9/11 The coffee shop was lovely great service and picnic benches beside it too The entrance fee is 5 euros and is contactless

Overpriced entry fee for poor facilities. Coilte is an over bureaucratic state quango monstrosity that should be removed. Lazy and inefficient. Better parks nearby ( e.g. Castletown..free parking etc ...

Lovely but not worth 5e parking cost
We have been checking out and visiting parks and forests not too far from Dublin. The barriers on arrival to Donadea were a surprise, and the 5e was even more surprising...so expectations were high. ...
Unable to get in to park
Drove from Dublin to have a picnic - had my 5 euro entry in coins - ONLY credit card entry now at barrier and no official to be seen - not even a button to press for assistance. -Just went somewhere ...
