Anren Theatre, also known as Starting Theatre, was built in 1942 by Liu Wencai. The theater was completely modeled on the Chengdu Yuelai Theatre (Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Center) at that time. It was the most beautiful and most stylish theater in the whole southwest at that time. It regularly invited the most famous theater in Sichuan to the theater to perform.
