Wat Don Yai Hom

Wat Don Yai Hom, formerly known as Wat Khok Yai Hom, is an old temple since ancient times. Located in the southwest of the current temple site. Later, around 1950, Luang Por Sap, abbot of Wat Khoi Ngai Nakhon Chai Si District Nakhon Pathom Province introduced villagers to help move Wat Khok Yai Hom The canal has been rebuilt at Moo 3, Don Yai Hom Subdistrict today. The reason for moving is because the original location of the temple is a marsh when it comes to the time of flooding water. The water will flood the cloisters, pavilions, viharns and churches. It is also very difficult to create for monks, novices and villagers. along with those days, Wat Khok Yai Hom The condition is almost an abandoned temple. The new temple area has a total area of about 8 rai. When the original temple is moved across the canal to set up a new temple in Don, when it is time to flow, the water does not flood the temple. Therefore, the villagers unitedly to change the name of the new temple from the original Wat Khok Yai Hom to Wat Don Yai. Om from then to the present
