She Ethnic Village

The Lanxi River, known as the Dai mother river, raised the Dai people from generation to generation. It is more like a stream flowing along the canyon in the jungle than a river flowing in the river. Zengcheng Zhengguo Town Yi Village is the only ethnic minority village in Guangzhou. Yi is also a member of China's 56 ethnic families. Yi Village is located in the southeast of Zhengguo Town, with 81 households in the village, with a total population of 360 people. So far, the Yi villagers still retain the complete Yi language, have their own totem and ethnic surnames, and are basically similar to the Yi people in other regions, worshiping the totem of "dragon dogs".

Depart at 8:30 to go to Yi Village. After leaving Zhengguo Town, it will be transferred to the rural greenway. The fresh field scenery is refreshing. After leaving the town, I ride about ten kilometers on Ping Road. After crossing Lanxi, I began to climb the mountain and it was getting steeper and steeper. The Yi village is on the top of a mountain in the Louvre Mountains, about 500 meters above sea level. There is now a good road to reach, the slope is steep, and it is difficult to ride. A few kilometers of climbing, rested three times before climbing up. At noon, I climbed into the Yi village and had lunch at a farm restaurant opened by a Yi people at the entrance of the village. The Yi village is very small and has only dozens of families. The houses are all newly built in recent years, with no special features. The villagers dress up like Han people. In the small museum built in the village, I saw a picture of a hundred years ago, and I found some historical sense. According to history, the Yi people here called the Yi people before 1956. Their genealogy is also called the Yi people. Their ancestors lived a hunting life, and migrated every five, six years, even one, two years. It was not until Wanli 26 years (1598) that they settled in the boat pit of Zhengguo Town at the foot of Luofu Mountain. Leaving at 2 pm and continuing to ride on the mountain road. The road runs through several valleys to the foot of Luofu Mountain, and along the way, the sun is shaded, the stream is gurgling, and the scenery is very quiet.
