The former site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions is a memorial hall established to commemorate the first site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. The building was originally Huizhou Assembly Hall and was built in the early Qing Dynasty. In May 1925, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions was established in Guangzhou, and in October of the same year, it moved into the small building at No. 89, Yuexiu South Road. As the central center of the national workers' movement led by the Communist Party of China during the Revolution, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions played an important role in developing and strengthening trade union organizations, leading the workers' movement, unifying the revolutionary base areas of Guangdong and the war on the Northern Expedition. In 1959, the Japanese site was opened as a memorial hall, and Liu Shaoqi wrote the plaque on the "Former Site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions". In 1988, the old site was announced by the State Council as a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. In 2021, the Guangdong Revolutionary History Museum has carried out a comprehensive improvement and transformation of the exhibition of the memorial hall. There are basic displays and restoration displays. Basic displays "Sailing 1 - All China Federation of Trade Unions in Guangzhou", displaying 209 pieces/sets of cultural relics, 129 charts, and 4 groups of artworks, fully displaying the birth of the All China Federation of Trade Unions and its history of leading the workers' movement in Guangzhou; The restoration display adheres to the principle of "presenting the original, authentic and credible", and restores the auditorium, Organization Department, Publicity Department, the editorial room secretariat of the Workers' Road and the Education and Publicity Committee and other departments, showing Liu Shaoqi, Deng Zhongxia, Su Zhaozheng, Lin Weimin, Waiting for the leader of the labor movement in the whole thing.
