Yanxia Three Caves

Yanxia Sandong is located on the side of the road in Yanxialing, West Lake District, Hangzhou. From top to bottom are Yanxia Cave, Shuile Cave, and Shiwu Cave. They are all small Kanas caves in Hangzhou. There are ancient stone sculptures in the caves, which are a bit cultural.

Yanxia three caves, namely Shiwu Cave, Shuile Cave, Yanxia Cave, is a famous scenery in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, located on the Yanxia Mountain under the southern peak. There is an original well on the roadside near Hupao, there are four wells called four wells, there is a small road opposite, and the osmanthus trees on both sides are forested. It is about 500 meters away from the stone house cave. The cave is high and the roof is like a house, so it is named.

"Yanxia Cave" and "Water Le Cave", "Shiwu Cave" are jointly called "Yanxia Three Caves", and it is also a famous tourist attraction in Hangzhou, located on Yanxia Mountain under the southern peak. Although it is a famous attraction, when we arrived, there were not many tourists and it was very quiet. Yanxia Cave is a natural cave made of limestone erosion, the depth of the cave is about 30 meters, the top of the cave is densely covered with jade milk, the sun reflects, flashing five colors, like the smoke, so it is named. The cave mouth is engraved with "There are many smokes here." The statue of Luohan in the cave was carved in the fifth generation of Jin Tianfu and the opening years (936~947), which is one of the earliest stone carvings of 16 Luohan statues found in the country. The statues of Guanyin and Bodhisattva on both sides of the cave are carved in the Northern Song Dynasty. The huling pavilion on the top of the cave is heavy, majestic, high-looking, and panoramic view of the mountain.
