Miyajima の benefactor
Original Text
It is a monument to honor the oath that is said to be a monk of the Edo period and a benefactor of Miyajima. There is a temple called Komyoin in the immediate vicinity, and after that, it is located in a place like a square with a good view. I can hardly read the characters, but I just looked it up and found how good a person was.
If you walk along the mountain toward the pier from the five-storied pagoda, you will see this monument. The place where the monument is located is a little open and you can see the view toward the five-storied pagoda. In addition, you can see the scenery without being blocked by trees from the place where the monument is located.
It was in a nice view square near Komyoin. It was a monument built by Miyajima 々 with gratitude to Mr. Seishin, who taught bamboo and wood work and dug wells.
When I went down the road from the direction of the five-storied pagoda to the pier, there was a sign on the way, so I visited it. There was only a large stone monument, but the surrounding area was maintained as a square and observatory, and the view toward Miyajimaguchi was widening. The tourists who were looking for the observatory were more noticeable than the tour of the monument.
Seishin is a monk who is said to be a benefactor of Miyajima who dug wells in Miyajima and taught how to make rice cakes. I was training at a temple called Komyoin, but a monument was built in a place with a good view overlooking the city at the end of the temple. It is a pretty magnificent monument.
