The 2F part of the Himeji Port Port Center Building was open to the public as an exhibition area. Not only photographic panels and related items related to the port, but also the former Jnr Kamako Line were introduced. It was a facility that could effectively use the waiting time for the ship.
I visited it when I was traveling by ferry from Himeji Port to Shodoshima. Himeji Port Building 2 Floor Admission is free. It's still the 60th anniversary of the opening of Himeji Port, so I think it's a good idea to know the history of Himeji Port.
I stopped by before boarding the ferry from Himeji Port. A free admission museum on the 2nd floor of the Himeji Port Center in front of Himeji Port, with the theme of the sea, Minato, and silver carriage roads. There are model ships, boat maneuvering games, video corners, etc., so adults can enjoy it. In the peace area, there was a space where you could sit down, and you could relax slowly while watching the scenery of Himeji Port. It was a very fulfilling museum and I enjoyed it more than I expected.
