Hello Kitty Cafe

#cherryblossom2024 This place blows our Hello Kitty Cafe back home out of the water in ALL realms...... Reservation highly recommended. A short walk off of the Ueno station! 👍 Also careful before entering! There's a mini step leading up outside before you start to descend to the entrance, I almost fell hard. We were able to reserve the My Melody sofa for my daughter. Our entire family enjoyed it here, including Dad who never liked Hello Kitty. I was expecting a very rushed experience especially from my son who wouldn't want to visit in the first place, but this luckily wasn't the case. Ordering is easy with their online system, the food came out in good time. When done, we took our QR Code and paid in the front. We ordered multiple items including the tri-colored lemonade, apple yuzu soda. To eat, we got a Cinnamaroll charcuterie platter and a their limited edition dessert platter with my Melody. I really like how they had things for little brother and Dad too. We ordered a kids dish served on a car bento for my son. Everything on this tasted very good and had so much variety (shrimp tempura, fried(?) rice, mini meatloaf, fries, chicken nuggets, broccoli 🥦, mini 🌭, and omurice).... this actually was my favorite tasting entree ....Dad got the arrabiata "potted" pasta with a beer and really liked it. They also provided these cards that you can play. But this requires another app that we had to download and we foreigners decided to pass on. Plus plenty of photo opportunities all around, if not on the table in front of you, but all around the cafe. Many themed restaurants we've experienced in the past often fall short on the food itself, but this place far exceeded everyone's expectations. The quality was great, and our bellies were full in the end. We'd love to come back.
