A temple with a taste
Original Text
A temple near the Yoshikawa family graveyard. There is also a stone statue of Fudo Myoo beside the mountain gate at the entrance, which is quite tasteful. In front of the main hall is a stone garden covered with white sand. I didn't get an admission fee, so I went in and saw it.
According to the information board in front of the temple, the garden was famous, so when I entered, there was a magnificent stone garden in front of the main hall. There is also a small garden in the back, and it seems that this is what was described on the information board.
I saw the gate of the temple along the road that continues to Yoshika Park. It is a temple of the Tenryuji school of the Rinzai sect, and the gardens in the precincts were beautifully laid out with pebbles, which was like the garden of the main mountain.
Today は relatively small さなお temple, create は Kamakura era
Original Text
It is a temple of the Rinzai sect adjacent to the Yoshikawa family graveyard, just below Tosenji Temple in Autumn Leave Valley Park. It was founded in 1309 by Hiroyuki Ouchi in the late Kamakura period. Although it is now a relatively small temple due to the dismantling by Mr. Yoshikawa, the garden is designated as a cultural property of Iwakuni City. The stone garden in front of the main hall reminded me of Ryoanji Temple in Kyoto.

The cherry blossoms in the temple are wonderful.
2020 Year 4 Month 4 Sunday and Saturday, the cherry blossoms in the temple were in full bloom. It was sunny and a superb view.
