Peaceful surroundings.
Quiet little place to tour, and have some individual prayer time. This is a nice location for a family reunion, or a wedding. Well maintained buildings and grounds.
This is a beautiful old church that looks like it has withstood the test of time. It's been well preserved for future generations to enjoy. The grounds are pretty, too!
McKendree Chapel just celebrated it's 200 year anniversary last weekend. There were many interesting things to see. Lots of people helped in the celebration.

December visit.
What a neat little chapel to visit, if you are in this area. Lots of history, quite country setting.
Friday afternoon visit.
They were setting up for a Saturday wedding. But there were no restrictions to our access and we loved walking around the old church and house.
