On December 14, 1934, the Long March of the Red Army of the Central Committee arrived in Liping, Guizhou. On December 18, the Party Central Committee held the first Politburo meeting on the way to the Long March of the Red Army in Liping. The meeting was attended by Politburo members Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Qin Bangxian and Zhang Wentian. Wang Jiaxiang, an alternate member of the Politburo, and Li De, an adviser to the Communist International, this is what Shi called the Liping Conference. Comrade Chen Yun also attended the meeting, and lived in this old building during the meeting, the Zeng's Ancestral Hall of Liping Hongzhou at the time, and was listed as a cultural relics protection unit by governments at all levels after 1978.
