La Brea Tar Pits and Museum

Our family recently visited and had a great time. Yes, the tar pit did smell but it wasn’t actually as bad as some people say. The museum is also good but not that big so you don’t need much time to go around. The exhibits were very interesting and some of our family loved history and archaeology so it was perfect for them. There is also a lovely little garden to walk around in the gardens of the museum.

There's only one dish in the restaurant. It's fish soup set. I arrived early in the morning and was full of people. Fish soup had a light and fresh taste, accompanied by rice, pickles and other mixed vegetables. It's a rich breakfast! ____________

We like the museum. It has some interactive displays, such as trying to take something out of the asphalt and see what it is. There are hundreds of fossils in the exhibition. Each fossil tells us what it is, how many years it has existed, when animals fell in and what kind of animals it is. We paid a little extra money (about $16 a person) to watch a short film, which tells us why there are so many fossils in pits and the history of pits. 。 Asphalt pits themselves are museum-independent and free. They are worth visiting. You can also see their current projects.

Great. The way archaeological sites are presented is very special. The content of video and film introductions is very high. It's Los Angeles.

This is an incredible museum with lively asphalt pits. We just happened to visit on the third Tuesday of the month, and the $15 ticket was $0!! We spent $5 for a movie about asphalt pits. This movie tells you about the great history of asphalt pits and museums. Loved it. I was stunned by the incredible skeleton of prehistoric mammals. Too much. They have a great jungle-type area inside the museum. Knowledgeable volunteers walked around answering questions. Funny interactive activities enjoyed all. We parked behind the building ($15) and walked a short walk to the entrance. I don’t know what parking lot is in front of the park. Wheelchairs are very convenient in the museum. They have a great gift shop. Everything is great. There is a working lab in the museum and volunteers are cleaning up small bones removed from the asphalt pit. Visitors can see through the glass that they work. There is a rope-bound area ahead, there are squeaking, active asphalt pits. It’s wonderful!!! This is a must-see in Los Angeles.
