The Flying J is a neat little mountain park, something between 400-500 acres. It has some rolling trails and is well timbered and pleasant. But in case you are thinking of making the Flying J a place of yours, let alone buying a home nearby, the speculators, developers and overall despoilers have ALL of Jefferson County in their sites and the Flying J in particular. They plan to cram 200-500 MULTI-FAMILY units in the woods and hills adjacent to the Flying J regardless of how it effects air, water or noise. And they will get their way, "JeffCo" ALWAYS sides with the developers.
