Fort Matola is located on a hill overlooking the natural port of Matola. It is a historic fortress in Muscat, a strategic defense against attacks and a vantage point for monitoring the surrounding area from the watchtower. It was built by the French in 1790. It dates back to 1507 AD, but later the Portuguese reinforced it with stronger walls and towers during their occupation of Oman in the 1500s. Address: JHC8+6R4, Al Bahri Rd, Muscat, Oman Transportation: Bus Line 4 to "Mutrah Fort " Time: 8:00-21:00 Tickets: 3 Rial (about 57 RMB)

[Muscat Sultan's Palace] قصر العلم Alam Palace is the palace in the old town of Muscat, the capital of Oman, and is one of the six palaces of Oman Sultan. The palace, which has been in history for more than 200 years, was first built by Sultan bin Ahmed, and was built in 1972 in gold and blue fronts. The palace is not open to the public and visitors can only take pictures at the door. The Sultan of Oman used the palace as a place to receive dignitaries and hold ceremonies. For example, in 2012, Sultan Qaboos Ben Said received Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands here. Address: JH8V+9V8, Muscat, Oman Transportation: Bus Line 4 to "Al Alam palace"

Muscat's Kabbs Sultan Mosque, not far from the international airport, is the largest mosque in the country. The overall style is in line with the low-key characteristics of the country, simple but solemn, and not the same style as the Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zeid Mosque.

The two fortresses were built by the Portuguese in the 1580s and occupy the eastern end of the seaport of Mutla. For military purposes, the Portuguese built several fortresses on geological formations and tactical positions in the ophile hills, such as Fort Jalali, Fort Minari and Fort Matra, to monitor enemy invasions. The forts are the only link between Muscat in previous years and Muscat now, and play a pivotal role in Oman's past. These forts serve as a window into important history, which helped to build and create cultures and traditions that ultimately produced the Oman we know today.

Muscat Royal Opera House, a very exquisite new theater, white exterior walls and tiles are very noble, surrounded by supporting commercial areas and high-end restaurants. I am lucky to have a performance rehearsal to visit, but I can't take pictures. I thought I could enter without a ticket, and then a local brother reminded me to buy a ticket (at first he wanted us to give him cash, and later we insisted on letting him take us to the ticket office, one person 3 riyals)
