Charming Winery, Average Wine
The winery is charming and worth a look-see. However one cannot take photos of the interior. There is a tasting room and a back room where one can sit and relax while tasting samples. The wine itself ...
Walk about 17 minutes on foot from Obuse Station on the road of the fruit field. There is no guide, so I will go by myself while looking at the map. There is also a parking lot. The same type of wine is purchased in groups for up to one type. Credit payment is possible. If you buy more than 15,400 yen, you will be provided with a shipping fee. We also sold notebooks and used corks.
Obuse Winery is also wholesale to high-priced restaurants in urban areas such as Tokyo and Osaka, and although it is not a big winery, it has a stiff and fashionable impression in Nagano Prefecture, where there are many wineries. No cafes or restaurants. Most of the guests visit individually instead of sightseeing buses. There are wines that can be bought at a reasonable price, and there are many clerk who kindly teach you even if you don't know, so you can visit without hesitation.
I rented a bicycle from all over the town of Obuse. It's in a difficult place to understand, but if you ask locals such as bicycle rentals, they will kindly teach you. The winery is difficult to understand the entrance, and I wonder if it is possible to open the heavy door that seems to be the entrance, but when I opened it, there was a tasting corner with many wine barrels lined up. Tasting is paid, but you can explain the brand carefully and find what you like ...
Wine is famous, but I didn't like it and I went by car, so I couldn't tasting it, so if I was wandering around the store. The brandy is usually colored, but the brandy in the winery is colorless and transparent. I was attracted to the clear color and bought it immediately. I'm thinking of opening it soon, but it's still colorless and transparent and I'm still hesitant to open it.

A hideaway winery.
