We came here especially to see the statue as we were looking for all the HCA fairy tale statues in Odense. This one is in a middle of a street, easy to find.
Back to the childhood
It was the first place I visited in Odence. The monument has some sublime enerfy which could make you a time traveller... Of course if you had read Adersen's tales.
Fairy Tail
This is another nice statue of Andersen's fairy tails character. I almost missed it because of busy traffic around, it was lost among plenty of people walking around. I am glad I found it in the end. ...
The Tin Soldier
One of the characters of Hans Cristian Anderson's stories. Nicely made and due to a shortage of bronze the statue is not completely finished.

I didn't expect to see something like that...well, it was very nice to sit on a bench next to Mr Andersen, but then at noticing the statue, some funny tingles came across my back: oh, I know who he is...
