It's close to the center of San Salvador, and can be reached in less than an hour. It's a scenic spot that's well-maintained, with places to eat and drink, souvenir shops, and more. Parking is limited, so you'll have to park along the road, and if it's crowded, you'll have to park far away. There are several hiking trails that take about an hour to climb the rocky terrain, some of which are paid and have time and group restrictions.
