On the way from Lake Shikotsu to Sapporo City, I was curious to see the reclining statue and stopped by. It's more like a power spot than a temple, and the person in charge kindly explained various things.

The big Buddha statue belongs to a crushed theme park, but it's magnificent and the garden is really wonderful with a dry landscape style. The person who guided me was also very polite. However, when it comes to temples, I felt that it was not so, but a facility that easily quotes the essence of Buddhism. I think you will be pleased to guide foreigners like a theme park.

外国人大喜び

外国人の友人を数名連れて訪れました。涅槃仏像を拝むことができ、様々な美術品がありました。お茶とお菓子も出て、とても美味しくいただきました。館内はきれいで、明るく、心の落ち着く場所です。外国人の友人たちも非常に喜んでいました。
