Seoul Lantern Festival

With 2 million attendees each year, the Seoul Lantern Festival is one of the city's well-known cultural celebrations. Held along Cheonggyecheon in central Seoul in November, the event includes hundreds of exquisite life-size lanterns, made by artists and local residents from around the world. During the two-week festival, various lantern-related activities will be held, including a lantern-making competition.
