This large steel and timber bridge spans Berowra Creek just north of the fishponds. The creek is quite wide at this point and the bridge provides a good view of the sandstone cliffs that line the edge of the creek. The bridge was commissioned in 1965 to allow fire truck access. The bridge is designed in the Warren Truss style and is one of only four "Steele" bridges still in use in New South Wales.
