    Tottori の Dongzhao Palace

    Original Text

Although it is a national important cultural property, it is a fairly modest Toshogu compared to Nikko's Toshogu. Various information says 15 minutes walk from Tottori Station, but it is difficult in 15 minutes. It was far from the torii gate to the shrine, and it was a 20 ~ 25 minute walk. The main shrine felt like it was being damaged, probably because it wasn't well maintained.

    There weren't many tourists.

    Original Text

Unlike the bustle of Tottori Sand Dunes, this area that passed through the residential area into the mountains is quiet and seems to be not many tourists.

Mitsunaka Ikeda, the first feudal lord of the Tottori domain, solicited and built the spirit of Nikko Toshogu and was called Toshogu in Inaba, and it was the best shrine in Tottori. It is said that Mitsunaka, the great grandson of Ieyasu, enshrined Tosho Daigongen in Tottori as one of the major projects that show loyalty to the Tokugawa Shogun family. The name of the cherry blossoms is cherry blossoms in the nearby mountains (O ...

    A thick forest

    Original Text

It is a very atmospheric shrine and is located at the foot of the mountain, so you can take a forest bath, and there is a clear stream nearby, and fireflies fly around in the season. If you bring a foreigner, you will be impressed.

    Quiet appearance

    Original Text

It is in a quiet and very good location. It is also called Tottori Toshogu. I feel a little lonely. I think it's okay as it is, but is it not revived by donations?
