The Museum of East Asian Art

The East Asian Art Museum hidden in the corner of the square next to the east side of the Crescent Tower can be regarded as the largest exhibition hall reflecting the art of the Far East in the entire southwestern region of England. The building with a small facade was temporarily repaired at the end of 2018, but the porcelain inside is still very exquisite, if you have time, you can really take a look.

The rooms of the East Asian Art Museum are bright and well ventilated. The exhibits are very light, mainly ceramics and jade. The artistic skills are quite amazing, and most of them are from ancient China. There is also a small shop on the first floor with some cheap gifts and rice in the restaurant.

The East Asian Art Museum is the only museum in the UK that studies East Asian art, and it is filled with art from Southeast Asia.

The East Asian Art Museum is located on Benlet Street in Bath, very close to the circular square, and the door face is very small. If you don't pay attention, you can't tell that this is a museum. I thought it was an ordinary residence. Only after I went in, I saw that there are mainly art works of porcelain, knitwear, calligraphy and painting produced in East Asian countries such as China, Japan and South Korea. It is estimated to be a private collection. The exhibits are not rich and there are few tourists.
