Also, the Amman Book Festival is conducted here each year. The Hashemite Plaza is surrounded by a couple of landmark Roman ruins. The Roman Theatre looks splendid with its 6000 seats looming on the southern side of the Hashemite Plaza. On the eastern side is Odeon, the smaller theatre. A short distance afar is Nymphaeum, the Roman public fountain. Besides, the Citadel Hill stands tall above the Hashemite Plaza and offers some great bird-eye views of it from its top.”

It is difficult for Chinese people to accept Middle Eastern food. Judging from the Jordanian food we have eaten these days, it is easier to accept than Morocco, Tunisia and Israel, and it is similar to Turkey. But after a long time, when instant noodles can no longer be adjusted, you need to arrange a Chinese meal to revive. At the end of Rainbow Street, No. 25, there is Ren Chai, the most famous Chinese restaurant in Amman.
🍳The restaurant is so beautiful. This is what Chinese food should look like abroad, not those carved beams and painted buildings with too many Chinese elements, red lanterns and big dragons. It was Christmas, and the colorful lights and decorations were still there. There were not many Chinese guests who came to dine, but more foreigners. Adults and children ate with relish.
🍜When we drank the long-awaited hot and sour soup, the taste was comparable to that in China. The steamed dumplings and spring rolls tasted good, but a few stir-fried dishes were unsatisfactory, too salty, and there was no taste of the dishes themselves. There is no Chinese waiter in this Chinese restaurant, and the menu is only in English, without pictures, so it is difficult to order.
🍽The dishes are mainly Chinese, and they also serve Southeast Asian dishes. After asking, I learned that the chef is Thai, and the boss is not Chinese, but Jordanian. He is well-known in the catering industry and has opened several Japanese restaurants. It would be better if Chinese guests could find faults with the dishes.

➡️A restaurant with a strong atmosphere on Rainbow Street. When the lights come on at night, the restaurant is filled with the aroma of food and the singing of resident singers
✅The hummus in their house is very good, and it is perfect with bread
✅Mansaf (lamb on top, rice on the bottom) is also very good with special yogurt, and the lamb is very tender
🌈Chapatti Indian Restaurant (picture 7)
➡️Highly recommend this Indian restaurant! It is delicious and not bad, and the price is not expensive
✅Chicken lollipop is a very special dish, the chicken is sweet and sour, and the texture is crispy

We arrived at Rainbow Street in the evening. The first impression was indeed as described, and we felt the youthful atmosphere of modern society. While walking and looking for food, we saw this restaurant located on the corner, surrounded by red apricots and dense trees (at first I didn't know it was a place to eat). The restaurant's sign is next to the street lamp, also hidden in the trees. When we walked in, the environment at the gate was quite petty bourgeoisie. When we walked to the stairs inside and looked down, we were amazed by everyone. This is the most beautiful dress I have seen since I came to Jordan. I couldn't help but exclaim. [Color] It took a lot of time to study the menu. In addition, there were many people. From sunset to ordering until the sky was completely dark, we finally decided on the staple food. Compared with the countless cuisines in Greater China, Jordan's food is very simple. Due to the geographical climate, the food here is more similar to that in northern my country, with mostly pasta and few vegetables and fruits. The staple food is a bread like Xinjiang's naan. Tear the bread in the middle and divide it into two halves, add various vegetables inside, and take a few bites, and you can finish it in one meal.
We are foreigners who don't know how to eat, so we still eat the vegetables and the bread. The food is not bad, especially when I meet someone like me who likes to eat grass. I basically clear all the grass that comes up~ Various unknown grasses are very fresh, mostly mixed with tomatoes, cucumbers, etc., poured with goat cheese or local special sauces. The overall taste is actually good, and I personally can still accept it.
The meat is basically sausages, cut into pieces, slices, and strips, with potato cubes, some spicy, or roasted tomatoes. The meat will be more tender than expected, and the umami taste is stronger than the phenomenon.
The most popular one is the roast chicken bibimbap (let's call it that for the time being), and I ordered two plates and finished them all. The rice was fried just right, very chewy, and had a bit of Thai rice texture.
