GGuest User: So we stayed in the Holiday Inn Preston for 1 night so my review can only really be brief as we didn’t stay for long - but I will say what I found. The rooms were pretty nice with enough space and had tea and coffee and a tv- all expected so nothing special and beds were very comfy. The location was good as it was 15 munutes walk from the train station. Room service was available till 11pm which was great but we didn’t try anything. We ordered breakfast for an extra £20 and it was decent but nothing special- and I’ve had much better as the bacon wasn’t the best. However it did the job and had lots to offer so that was good and not gonna complain. This was double the cost of most nearby hotels so we expected a little more really , but all in all a decent stay and it was fine. Would come again

GGuest User: Very straightforward check in, welcoming host. Room served us well during our stay. Breakfast was good, we could help ourselves to the cereals and juices etc. A waitress took our order for breakfast, a fried English breakfast and filtered coffee arrived in a timely manner. I was really impressed. Shops, bars and pubs just a 5 min walk away. Parking was convenient and secure. If I’m in and around this area again, I will be booking here.

SShaun: Unbelievably good experience. Amazingly good value for money. Really great, friendly service, beautifully clean premises and room, gorgeous smelling linen, really comfy bed… best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel. And riverside views. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again. Great location - only a 10 min walk into the heart of the city centre, also on the doorstep of beautiful walks along the river Ribble through Miller Park and Avenham Park.

In the foothills of the Andes, towering over Santiago, stands the Templo Bahá'í de Sudamérica (Bahá'í Temple)—the only structure of its kind in all of South America and a true masterpiece of modern architecture. The building is shaped like a blossoming bud, composed of nine mirrored and marble "petals." During the day, the building lets in soft sunlight, and in the evening, it is illuminated from within, creating the impression that the temple glows from within against the backdrop of the dark mountain peaks. Surrounding the temple are tranquil terraced gardens with meditative areas, offering stunning panoramic views of Santiago and the Andes. 📸 Things to do and see: ▪️Appreciate the architecture: Up close, the temple's materials are striking—the exterior is made of cast glass, while the interior is made of translucent Portuguese marble. ▪️Stroll through the gardens: Hundreds of species of native plants and flowers grow around the temple, along with convenient walking paths. ▪️Enjoy the view: This is one of the most tranquil and beautiful viewpoints in the city, overlooking Santiago. Templo Bahá'í is a place of incredible tranquility, harmony, and architectural awe. The view of vast Santiago against the backdrop of the majestic Andes is simply breathtaking! ℹ️ Helpful information: 📍 Location: Diagonal Las Torres 2000, Peñalolén, Santiago, Metropolitan Region, Chile. 🚘 How to get there: The easiest way is by Uber from the city center (about 30-40 minutes to the foothills of the Andes). 💳 Admission: Free (advance reservation required for a free slot on the official website). ⏰ Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Closed Monday). 💡 Visiting tip: Observe silence inside the temple—it is a place for meditation and reflection. Dress code (covered shoulders and knees) is required at the entrance. #TemploBahai #SantiagoChile #ChileArchitecture

This hotel is magnificent, offering a variety of cuisines, each better than the last. The service is outstanding, with the staff consistently cheerful and attentive. You truly feel welcomed and valued. Special thanks to Sheryl, Lucia, Paloma, and Mariana at the rooftop Artistas. Staying at Casa Artistas provides access to the hotel's Mexico-inspired areas. It's a must-visit. The location, pools, and decor are absolutely worth it. Our favorite restaurant was definitely Fuego.
