Olympic Park 2 days 2 nights guide|Rainforest and snow mountain

🚗Day 1|Seattle → Port Angeles (stay) Leisurely departure in the afternoon Take the Edmonds → Kingston ferry Check the ferry schedule in advance on the WSDOT website! 🌊Day 2|Lake Crescent → Rainforest → Ruby Beach ▫️Lake Crescent pics 1-3 Water so clear it looks like glass!! Visible to the naked eye Start with Marymere Falls Trail ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lake + big trees + rainforest + small bridge all in one frame, it’s like a painting Water flow at the waterfall is average but the atmosphere along the way is perfect for a stroll ▫️Sol Duc Trailhead ⭐⭐⭐✨ pics 4 Temperate rainforest trail with towering trees + ferns everywhere But it’s a bit similar to Marymere Falls Trail. If short on time, you can skip it since the round trip takes about 1 hour by car ▫️Hall of Mosses ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ pics 5-8 Moss hangs down from above like a magical forest The mysterious vibe of the temperate rainforest is fully on display ▫️Ruby Beach ⭐️⭐️⭐️ pics 9-11 Black sand beach + coastal rocks But the day we went at sunset the sky was overcast, so it felt just okay 🏔️Day 3|Hurricane Ridge → Sequim lavender farm ▫️Hurricane Ridge Loop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ pics 12-14 Ridge hike surrounded by snowy mountains on clear days 🏔️ Spotted wild deer + lots of marmots! Super cute with great interaction 🦫🦌 Recommended to go in the morning for good light + higher chance of sea of clouds ▫️Sequim lavender farm ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ pics 15-16 On the way back, stop by B&B Family Lavender Farm Free admission + variety introduction + essential oil making explanation Great for photos too, purple flower sea. Lavender picking costs $8 and comes with a basket

Seattle's dual twilight | City melancholy on one side, healing mountains and sea on the other — traveler post in Edmonds

Seattle's dual twilight | City melancholy on one side, healing mountains and sea on the other

When visiting Seattle, don't just check off the Space Needle and Pike Place Market. The true emotion of this city is hidden in the twilight by the sea🌫️ 🌃Alki Beach Pier | Evening breezes at the pier overlooking the city skyline On a casual evening, I strolled along the coastal path and arrived at Alki Pier. Twilight slowly enveloped the bay as the water taxi cut through the surface and gently docked at the pier. A steady stream of people returned to shore—families chatting and laughing on their way home, and lone travelers walking with hurried steps. On the wooden boardwalk, a few anglers quietly watched the sea, rarely speaking to one another, just silently gazing at the expanse of city buildings on the opposite shore. As the sea breeze swept by, the silhouette of Seattle's skyscrapers in the distance gradually softened in the dusk. The scene before me inexplicably evoked scenes from the classic film "An Autumn's Tale." The story took place in New York, but that delicate feeling of drifting through the world and longing for reunion was reawakened here on the Pacific coast. Looking at the sprawling city skyline across the water, a long-lost sense of melancholy welled up in my heart. Having traveled the world, we are always on the move, and we occasionally ask ourselves where our true home lies. 🌅Edmonds | A niche coast healed by the sunset If Alki Pier carries a subtle sense of storytelling, then Edmonds Beach is pure, peaceful healing. Without planning the trip in advance, I stumbled upon this waterfront. The evening sea breeze carried a chill, and many locals sat directly on the driftwood on the beach, quietly waiting for the sunset. I was lucky enough to encounter an otter slowly crossing the path, lively and cute. As the sun slowly sank, the entire sea surface was plated with a layer of scorching golden halo. The scattered American-style cottages along the shore looked exceptionally gentle against the backdrop of the sunset glow. I stood shoulder to shoulder with a group of strangers, watching the sun sink bit by bit into the distant forest. All the noise dissipated, leaving my heart full of peace and contentment. 📌Travel tips ▪️Alki Beach Pier is open to the public for free and can be reached by water taxi. It has the best atmosphere during twilight. ▪️There is a large temperature difference between day and night by the sea. Even if it is warm during the day, bring a light jacket for the evening. ▪️Edmonds is a local niche spot, suitable for a dedicated trip to watch the sunset. You can watch the wildlife from a distance, but do not approach them.

Use Jennie's new song to open Edmonds' seaside summer — traveler post in Edmonds

Use Jennie's new song to open Edmonds' seaside summer

and the episode that fits best with Jennie's unreleased new song. Please turn on the sound to enjoy 🥺 Edmonds half-day trip diary: 📍 Edmonds Fishing Pier Navigate to the seaside. There are many free public parking lots nearby. Then start the seaside walk! There are lots of little seal sculptures. The one on page 3 lying on the stairs is really cute and thoughtful. Not far from the seaside is Main Street. The street is very clean, quite suitable for a slow city walk when the weather isn’t too hot. The familiar layout of souvenir shops, trinkets, and boutique bookstores. Found some cute little things that, as always, look like they came from Yiwu. 📍 Teri's Toybox A well-stocked Jellycat toy store. The rare dachshund shoulder bag appeared. I really like this sad face… Also, the World Cup soccer stock is moving fast! Plus a few inexplicable plush rings (?) that are super cute for photos. Really regret not eating a lobster roll at MARKET Seafood Eatery and instead choosing a bar. The beer was pretty good, but the cocktails and snacks were just average. 📍 A Very Taki Tiki Bar & Grill Originally planned to walk at the Waterfront, but it was too sunny that day to go: · Edmonds Waterfront · Brackett’s Landing North · Port of Edmonds · Olympic Beach On a good day, you can see: · Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound bay, large ferries · Seals, seabirds, and if lucky, whales (a few days ago, I saw many photos of whales 🐳!) On the way back, we ate at Modoo in nearby Lynnwood. Three girls eating this beef bone hot pot was still too rich, haha

Seattle Center

You can walk to the Seattle 520 Bridge from Bellevue, as shown in Figure 1. There is also a beautiful park and parking lot here. If you like to walk across the bridge, you can reach Seattle. If you like to take the bus, you can also do so. The bus station is just below the parking lot. There are many buses and the waiting time is not long. It is very convenient.

Boeing Future of Flight

The Boeing aircraft factory is a huge company. You can see a large number of Boeing passenger planes parked here from afar. They are all relatively large models. The airport also has a large number of orders, and the huge assembly plants are made up of very tall buildings.

University of Washington

The learning atmosphere is great, and it is a good university for studying. The cost-effectiveness of tuition fees can be improved... Children can come here for summer camps to experience the atmosphere of a world-renowned university. The natural scenery here is also great. You can sit on the grass and read quietly under the blue sky on weekends...

Green Lake Park

A local friend drove me to Cuihu Lake. This is a park with few people, and even fewer tourists. If you drive here by yourself, it is still highly recommended. There are many plants and many small animals living here.

Seattle Aquarium

This is in Seattle, after all, this is a place to visit. But compared to Suizhou in China, this place is practically a little brother and doesn't hold much significance. However, if you're planning to visit the place shown in the picture below, this is a must-see. It's not much, just simple female massage, but you can definitely learn a lot from it. That's for sure.

Woodland Park Zoo

The zoo in Woodland Park is a very large park with a lot of animals, many of which are familiar and unfamiliar. It is the best place to bring children to visit, where you can see many small animals.

The Museum of Flight

It is worth a visit even if you are not a fan of flights. We spent more than 3 hours there. It’s huge and educational. It is amazing that there are so many different types of airplanes. You can even go inside the Air Force one to see the layout. Great experience.
