Todemmy:“Generally, tourists who visit Metasequoia National Park will first stop at the huge forest village, where there is a tourist service center and some log cabin gift shops. The second stop is to take photos at the General Sherman Tree. Tourists will feel refreshed when walking along the trails. Some of the fallen giant trees have been deliberately hollowed out to allow cars to pass through the middle of the trunks. This shows that the diameter of the Metasequoia is really amazing.”

Guest User:“This is an excellent place just outside Sequoia and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Great breakfast with bagels, waffles, fruit etc. The room was comfy and warm but we could hear our upstairs neighbour stomping and next door's TV. Although everyone seems to go to bed early so not a major problem. The laundry room is cheap (total of $3.50 for washer and dryer). The negatives were no fresh towels with room keeping service and also the staff seemed a bit miserable, with the exception of Emily who was amazing! Shout out to Emily!!!”

La Piazza Ristorante Italiano

La Piazza Ristorante Italiano

_TI***n5:“The experience at La Piazza Restaurant seems to be a perfect example of how great food can be overshadowed by horrible service. It is disheartening to spend a significant amount of money, $173 in this case, and then leave without even checking the receipt for accuracy due to the unexceptional service received. The fact that there was no response from their consumer affairs department when reaching out about the issue further adds to the disappointment. It is simply unacceptable for a restaurant to ignore customer concerns, especially after such a negative experience. The service at La Piazza has clearly fallen from grace, and it appears that there may be deeper issues at play here. Perhaps there is a cultural or generational problem within the establishment that affects the quality of service provided. It is concerning to think that this restaurant may cater more towards a specific community than others, as mentioned in relation to feeling uncomfortable while paying without checking the receipt. This kind of discrimination or bias should never have a place in any dining establishment.Overall, it is evident that La Piazza Restaurant's combination of great food and pathetic service leaves much to be desired. This experience can only be described as one of the worst ever encountered by customers seeking fine dining.”
