Otsu Bridge outside Nagoya Castle
After leaving Nagoya Castle, walk all the way to the Sotobori-dori where there is a large stone bridge from the Showa era called Otsu Bridge.
The Sotobori is the outermost moat of the ancient Nagoya Castle, which was originally supposed to be a wooden bridge. The sign on the bridge records that it was rebuilt in the 42nd year of Showa, which is 1967, with a complete stone construction, and the old Japanese style is evident.
During the romantic cherry blossom season, this bridge is especially fitting.
Address: Intersection of Nagoya Otsu-dori and Sotobori-dori
