Kanazawa 21st Century Art Museum is a modern art museum located in the center of Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It mainly exhibits works of art such as painting and photography. The shape of the museum is very different from other museums and buildings around Kanazawa. The building does not have a front or main entrance. The museum uses 360-degree transparent glass curtain wall. The outdoor scenery is naturally integrated into the interior and the museum won the Golden Lion award at the Venice Biennale.
