Death Valley, California is one of the hottest places in the world. In the summer, the temperature can reach 56.7 degrees Celsius, and the surface temperature can reach 70 degrees Celsius or higher. During the hottest period, it becomes hell on earth. Visitors often come to hike in the winter around January when the weather is still cool. When the summer is over, only the gutsiest people come here. The desolate surface and the straight road make it a good place for self-driving tour. You meet many people on the road who drive their own RVs, stop and go all the way. There are also many campsites in the National Park that are either provided for rent or for free. This January, while the weather has yet to heat up, carry a tent, and go on an extreme location hike.
