thermal pools
one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever been! it located in the west of turkey. it is a really touristy attraction, you will see lots of tour buses and individuals coming here to visit this place. water is not filled in all the terraces and the most of them are not as white as it looks like before. however, the thermal pools still look magnificent with the fluffy clouds in the background.
it is important to walk carefully since it’s really slippery to walk walk around. and the hot thermal water is really nice for people to take a bath and have a rest.
anyway, this place is absolutely stunning, and it takes around 2 hours to visit the entire place, there is one restaurant on the top where you are able to eat and rest #passionpassport #staycation #gooutside #mountainview

Travertines of Pamukkale Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Travertines in Turkey
If you're visiting Turkey, make sure you add Pammukale in your iterinary so as to not miss out the natural thermal pools. The picturesque white views may be mistaken with a snow but in reality it's the travertines generated out of natural hot water constantly flowing. The views are amazing and if you get to catch them at sunset or sunrise nothing like it! ... One of the best experiences of our trip to Turkey.

Pamukkale Travertenl
The water is lukewarm and the pools are clean and clear. Water is just knee high so it’s a pleasure to just wade around and get your feet wet. Some areas were closed off for cleaning. Quite a few photographers available to take memorable pics.
This place is breathtakingly beautiful. With the rolling hills in the background and fluffy clouds in the distance, ancient ruins surrounding the area, you are transported to another realm it seems.
Be sure to take a dip in Cleopatra’s pool. Water temperature is a little hotter. You can literally smell and taste the minerals in the water. The bottom of the pool is filled with loose pebbles and columns that collapsed in ancient times. Excellent setup for swimming with lockers and changing rooms easily accessible at a cost of 130 Turkish Lira.

Trust me, the actual view of the thermal pool is super nice but it’s not possible to take from top to below. note that the limestone is sharp and edgy so it’s really hard to walk. I think I can give advice to bring beach shoes.
Did I mention that there is no safety rail available and next to you is the cliff.
A small footpath runs up the mountain face for us to use, however the travertine terraces are all off-limits, having suffered damage over time I guess or too many ppl walking on the same path.
Free of charge to bath there but don’t mind ppl just put their feet into the water . Mineralised water , not thermal but spring water so it’s cooling.
Pamukkale Travertines a unique side trip!
Next to the city of Denzil a 5-6 hour drive from Istanbul is Pamukkale. it is a quite town with not much going on but right next to it is a spectacular view.
The Pamukkale Travertines are a natural wonder located in Denizli Province, southwestern Turkey. The travertines are a series of terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water of the hot springs.
The hotsprings are at the top of the hillside at the southern end of the town of Pamukkale. They have been#turkeytravel#pamukkale#hotsprings used as a spa since the 2nd century BC. After hiking up the Travertines you can relax in the hotsprings.
It's a unique experience and is worth taking a side trip from Istanbul.

Cleopatra Pools Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Cleopatra Pool in Pamukkale
Cleopatra Pool must be included in the TO-DO list of places to visit in Pamukkale. As this landmark is very far from the nearest city, you need to arrange private transportation to get there or buy a half day tour which is quite popular. This tour will arrange round trip transportation in comfortable buses. The price for the pool is rather high. First you got to buy a ticket for the Pamukkale thermal pools and then for Cleopatra pools.
The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 1 to 2 hours. The water has such a beautiful light bluish-greenish shade, I though the pics about this place were photoshopped but in person you will see those true beautiful colours.

Cotton Castle Adventure | Soaking in the hot springs among the stone pillars~
| Soaking in the hot springs among the stone pillars~. We have arrived at Pamukkale, Turkey! The sun came out when we arrived, and the weather was warm and suitable for sightseeing🤩~ This time we did not choose to go to the Pamukkale hot springs, but went to the more special Cleopatra Pools♨. This hot spring is located in Pamukkale, Turkey, which was once known as Hierapolis. Moreover, this ancient city has been home to many famous historical figures and is now named Pamukkale.
The name of the hot spring comes from the fact that Cleopatra is said to have bathed here centuries ago because the seawater here is warm and clear. This natural wonder has warm 'champagne water' rich in minerals, the water fills the pool, and has therapeutic effects👍.
The biggest feature of Cleopatra Pools is swimming among the ancient pillars in the marble ruins⛲. And there are changing rooms and lockers for storing equipment. All in all, this is a must-visit destination in Turkey➡.
🎫Ticket: 33 Turkish Lira for two hours, including changing room; locker requires an additional payment of 5 lira.
💰Pool charge: Adult charge 50 lira (about 8.86 US dollars) / Children under 12 charge 20 lira (about 3.54 US dollars) / Children under 6 are free
Cleopatra Pools | Belongs to the romance of Pamukkale
| Belongs to the romance of Pamukkale. "Romantic Turkey" has always been my desired tourist destination, and Pamukkale is really beautiful. This trip discovered a new niche check-in spot - Cleopatra Pools♨, which is more beautiful than Pamukkale.
Cleopatra Antique Pools are not as famous as the Pamukkale pools, many people don't even go to visit. But this is definitely a highlight. The ancient Roman city of Hierapolis was a healing hydrotherapy center for people. Although not large, it is very interesting➡ A 7th-century earthquake blew a large pit in the city center, the earthquake destroyed the magnificent pillars of this city and sank in the hot spring pool. There are also many fallen ruins in the pool, so don't show off your swimming skills, just soak.
It is said that this antique swimming pool has a history of 2000 years, and the water quality is good, the skin is smooth after soaking🤩. Walking in the ancient city of Turkey under the scorching sun may feel irritable, just bring a swimsuit to soak, enjoy the beauty and rejuvenation hot spring of Cleopatra. The feeling is still very good~
⏰Business hours: All day-24 hours
🎫Ticket price: 30 Turkish Lira
⌛Required time: About 2 hours
Internet Celebrity Ancient Bath | Turkey Cleopatra Pools
|Turkey Cleopatra Pools.
This is a hot spring pool in the Pamukkale scenic area. The experience of soaking in a hot spring in a world heritage site certified by UNESCO is absolutely unique. Remember to bring your swimming gear when you go to Pamukkale.
I didn't come here for the show 'Sisters Over Flowers', I came purely for the bath. You can visit and take pictures when you enter, but if you want to swim, you must buy a ticket. The ticket price is 50 lira per person, and there is an extra charge for storage. The guy at the door will tell you that his storage is more expensive, and there are cheaper large boxes inside, only 5 lira. There is a dedicated dressing room, the conditions are quite good. No items, including mobile phones, are allowed in the water. The water temperature is very good, and there is a water outlet for massage. The bottom of the water is the stone pillars and stones of ancient relics. Because they are soaked in water, they are very slippery. Be careful when passing by. The service attitude is very average, but such a special bath is worth a visit.
It is said that the hot spring water here maintains a constant temperature of about 35 degrees all year round. The deepest part is more than 5 meters. The ruins at the bottom of the hot spring water are genuine ancient Roman sites. There are not many people coming here in winter, and the water in the pool looks quite clean. The ticket price is also higher than before. If you don't soak in the hot springs, you can also stroll around and eat inside.

Best to do in Antalya
It worth staying in the city of Antalya, instead of going to the All Inclusiv Hotels near Antalya. There is a lot do in city center. You can visit the old town with a lot of nice old buildings, and have great Turkish food. But there are also amazing beaches in Antalya. Like the beach in Lara. Just take a bus from the city and have a beer there and enjoy the great sunset!
