Shanghai Glaze Art Museum, located at No. 25 Taikang Road, Huangpu District, adjacent to Tianzifang, founded by Zhang Yi and Yang Huiting, the founders of modern glass art in China. The purpose is to promote the international awareness of China's glass culture and the dissemination of its basic concepts. Thus, the glazed culture can continue, and its art crafts can be rejuvenated. Shanghai Glass Art Museum collects many ancient Chinese glass essences and world modern glass art masterpieces, including Amir • Calais (France), François • Dekong Simon (France), Fujita Qiaoping (Japan), and has held American glass art master Steven ‧ Weinberg, French national treasure glass artist Anthony • Le Perier solo exhibition. The beautiful light and color of the glass make people fascinated, but in the eyes of Zhang Yi and Yang Huiqi, it should be called glazed. The glass ear cup of Jingwang Tomb of Zhongshan is not only the Buddhist scriptures "May I come to life, when I have to Bodhi, my body is like glass, and the inside and outside are clear"; it is also Bai Juyi's "color clouds and easy to disperse glass crisp"; reflecting the deep aesthetics and philosophy of the East. Shanghai Glass Art Museum was founded in 2006. The original site of the museum is the old factory of Shanghai clock factory accessories in the 1960s. The artist Yang Huixuan specially retained a part of the building structure when planning, adding elements such as glazed and peony to give the building new life, and was selected for the design award in London, England (Bombay Sapphire). The exterior wall of the blooming iron net peony flower, composed of 5025 petals combination, pure handmade, into the night, flowers colorful.
