Qinling can be roughly divided into three sections: West, Middle and East. The West Section is divided into three branches, the North Branch is Qinling, also known as Nanxun Mountain or Dasanling; the Middle Branch is Fengling, there is loess accumulation, soil erosion is relatively strong; the South Branch is Zibai Mountain, in the northwest of the dam is called Chaiguanling. These mountains are above 1500 meters above sea level, while the highest mountain is Zibai Mountain, with an altitude of 2610 meters. The western section of Qinling Mountain has become the watershed and birthplace of Qingjiang River and Jialing River, Jialing River's left bank tributary and Jushui River, tributary and some tributaries of the Luohe River.
