Traveling to Chaozhou, I live in the ancient city. There are several doors in the ancient city of Chaozhou. Guangji Gate is the largest, and there are bamboo doors. Usually everyone enters and exits from the largest Guangji Gate. However, everyone may also enter and exit from the bamboo doors. Just don't pay attention. The ancient city gates are all historical, built in the Ming Dynasty, Ming Hongwu years, the Republic of China period overhauled, some wooden frames were converted into reinforced concrete structures.

This is a city building in the ancient city of Chaozhou. On the side of the ancient city wall, there is a city gate to enter and exit, but motor vehicles can come out and cannot enter the ancient city from here. The city wall above here can be up.

Chaozhou Bamboo Gate City Building is on the north side of Guangji Gate City Building, about two meters away, with city walls connected, Bamboo Gate City Building is smaller than Guangji Gate City Building, it should be a deputy city gate, now its city gate can pass cars, the night view is beautiful.

Bamboo and wooden doors are one of several ancient city gates. I thought it was still a bamboo or wooden structure before I went. In fact, several city gates have been renovated now. I found relevant historical research. It is estimated that in ancient times it was named because it was a bamboo and wooden distribution center. It is very close to Guangji Building, you can go up to the city wall and walk past the city wall.

Part of Chaozhou Old Town, no charge, but the city building is closed and is not allowed to enter, less than 200 meters from Guangji Gate. The name is very strange, maybe because it was made of bamboo and wood in the past? The city gate is intact, and the city building is completely new. Explore the Guangji Bridge and the Han River, but the trees cover most of the view, looking at the old town, only one corner can be seen. Maybe this is why it is so far away from the bridge but it is unknown.
