Zhangye Bell and Drum Tower, also known as Zhenyuan Tower, commonly known as Drum Tower, is located in the center of Zhangye City, where four streets from east, west, north and south meet. The Zhangye Drum Tower is built on the basis of the Xi'an Bell Tower. It is built on a brick altar. The platform is square in plane, 32 meters wide at the bottom, 9 meters high, and more than 30 meters from the base to the top of the building. The eaves and corners, carved beams and painted buildings, are elegant and solemn, fully reflecting the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty.
