Lanzhou Waterwheel Park

Lanzhou Waterwheel Park is located in the west section of Binhe Road, adjacent to Zhongshan Bridge in the east, the sculpture of "Mother of the Yellow River" in the west, Baita Mountain Park in the north, and Baiyun View in the south. It is one of the most Lanzhou local attractions on the Baili Yellow River style line. It is a good place for tourists to visit and play.

The waterwheel has a long history and a strange shape, which originated in the Ming Dynasty and is the oldest irrigation tool along the ancient Yellow River in Lanzhou City. ＂ Lanzhou Waterwheel Park ＂ is located in the Yellow River South Bank Belt Park, east section of Binhe Middle Road. It is a unique garden in the park, built in 1994. Lanzhou waterwheel also known as: skywheel, overturning, irrigation truck, tiger car, long history, strange shape, originated in the Ming Dynasty, is an ancient Yellow River irrigation facility. The water trucks ingeniously take the water of the Yellow River and irrigate farmland, which brings convenience to the lives of people on both sides of the Yellow River and promotes the development of various productions. Lanzhou also has a reputation as the capital of the water trucks. The waterwheel park consists of two-wheeled waterwheels, coffers, water mill service rooms and play areas, reproducing the ancient water conservancy machinery of the waterwheel. The waterwheel uses the water flow to promote during the peak water season, and the water cycle uses the coffers to divert water and make visitors see it quickly through the river channel. Today, Lanzhou Waterwheel Park has become a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating tourism, sightseeing, dining, entertainment, leisure and vacation.
