Beijige Park

When I went to Gulou Park in Nanjing, I found that there was a Arctic Pavilion Park nearby. I walked east from Beijing East Road to the south gate of the park for1.3 kilometers. I saw a folk stone garden and saw the Jiangsu Meteorological Agency. I couldn't go in when I went up.

The Arctic Pavilion is a small hill in the center of Nanjing. It is an inconspicuous small park, but the location is more unique. It is very close to the Drum Tower, Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Lake. The vegetation here is rich, the mountains are lush and the air is fresh. There are also ancient weather stations on the mountain. There are also several pavilions, some of which have been around for a long time, which can be rested, and sometimes people can see people practicing or playing music here for their own pleasure. Walking here is also quite enjoyable.

The Arctic Pavilion is an inconspicuous hill in the center of Nanjing, and there are probably very few outsiders know about it. From west to east, Fuzhoushan (Jihuashan), Jimingshan (the seat of Jiming Temple), Arctic Pavilion until Gulougang are the remnants of Zhongshan Mountain. This mountain is actually only 60 meters high. There are ancient observation deck sites, meteorological history museums, Songziwen Mansion and other scenic spots on the mountain. The vegetation on the mountain is very good and the air environment is good. It is a good place to stroll.

There is Song Ziwen Mansion in the back mountain. In the south of the hill, there is a "Monument to the victims of the Japanese invasion of China near the Arctic Pavilion of the Nanjing Massacre". On the south side of the hill is the Palaeontological Museum. It is in the most central part of Nanjing City, on such a hill, full of vegetation and trees, lush, fresh air, in the downtown seems very quiet.
